
To show our appreciation, we provide recognition and benefits to our donors using a series of giving circles that connects philanthropy to the School’s spirited heritage:
The Ad Summa Circle
The Ad Summa Circle celebrates the School’s motto – Aim to the Highest – recognising donors who make a cumulative gift of $1 million and greater.
The Swainson Circle
The Swainson Circle honours the founding Headmistress of Marsden, Mrs. Mary-Anne Swainson, recognising donors who make a cumulative gift between $500,000 and $999,999.
The Neligan Circle
The Neligan Circle is named for Old Girl Ms Ruth Neligan. Ms. Neligan was Headmistress from 1951 to 1956. Known to epitomise the Marsden tradition and all that was good and successful about the Marsden Girl, this namesake circle recognises donors who make a cumulative gift between $150,000 and $499,999.
The Marsden Circle
The Marsden Circle honours Reverend Samuel Marsden, the Anglican missionary after whom the School is named, recognising donors who make a cumulative gift between $50,000 and $149,999.
The Riddiford Circle
The Riddiford Circle is name for the Riddiford brothers, Eric, Vivian and Daniel, who gifted ten acres of land in Karori on which the School is built. This circle recognises donors who make a cumulative gift between $10,000 and $49,999.
The School also has a series of physical naming opportunities available for donors who are interested in naming a part of the Creativity Centre in perpetuity or in honour of a loved one. Please enquire with the Campaign staff to schedule a meeting with the Principal, Jenny Williams.
